Art Galleries of St. Augustine First Friday Artwalk

5:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m.
The Art Galleries of Saint Augustine founded and sponsors the award-winning First Friday Art Walk event on the first Friday of every month. Galleries open their doors from 5-9 p.m., offering new art exhibits and lively receptions to the public. Start your FREE self-guided tour at any of the Art Galleries of Saint Augustine galleries. Most galleries are within close walking distance to each other; some are just a short ride away. Hop aboard the FREE Art Walk trains and trolleys that run throughout downtown.

Feast on great arts & eats and the sounds of live music—rain or shine! For the late-nighters, the celebration continues with “after parties” at area clubs and restaurants. Parking locations are shown on the map. Parking after 5 p.m. is free except at the Historic Parking Garage.

Dear friends, it is with a heavy heart that we must announce that Amiro Gallery will be closing it's doors at the end of next month. Our building has been sold, renovation will be starting soon and we are not going to be able to continue. For the past 7 years, we have done our best to represent the finest local artists, with love and joy.
We are beyond sad at the loss of our little space, but want to celebrate all the friends, patrons and clients that have become family to us over the years. We hope that you will join us on Friday, as we host the final Amiro Gallery artwalk.

There is a yellow dot sale of 25% off on select jewelry, silk scarves, prints, paintings and more....

Amiro is a Timucuan word that means, 'Much, Many, Plenty'. For the overwhelming abundance of love and support over the years, we thank you all.

First Friday Art Walk - February 2nd, 2018

First Friday Art Walk - February 2nd, 2018

Feb 2, 5:00pm - Feb 2, 9:00pm

Sea Spirits Gallery & Gifts
210 St George St
Saint Augustine, FL  32084 Map

Come join us for First Friday Art Walk on Friday, February 2nd, 2018.
From 5-9pm, featured artist Lorraine Millspaugh will not only be showing her Florida wildlife inspired creations, but she will actually be on site painting and demonstrating her techniques. We invite you to come chat with her at Sea Spirits Gallery, 210 St. George Street, south of the Plaza. Lorraine, or Lori, will welcome you in person and tell you about her techniques and the stories behind her individual pieces.
Lorraine uses mostly acrylic with glazes and molding pastes. She specializes in White Herons, Birds and Beaches, and Sea Turtles swaying to the gentle steering currents of the sea. She uses vibrant contrasts to catch the light in her life-like renderings. Lorraine takes photographs first and translates the beauty and emotional aspects of each subject skillfully into her fascinating paintings.
If you are unable to attend our First Friday Art Walk event, please be sure to visit our gallery later to view her fantastic work. The paintings will be on view from February 2nd until March 2nd, 2018.
