Clyde M. Taylor III earned his law degree from the University of
Georgia School of Law in May of 2000, where his studies focused on
criminal law and public interest law. The first four years of his
practice focused exclusively on criminal defense law. He defended
persons accused of crimes including felonies, misdemeanors, juvenile,
drug charges, traffic offenses, DUI’s, violent offenses, theft offenses
and murder.
Prior to starting his own practice, Taylor worked with Canan
Law in St. Augustine as an Associate Attorney, where his criminal
trial practice included felonies, misdemeanors and juvenile offenses in
St. Johns, Duval, Clay, Putnam and Flagler Counties. He also served
clients in the areas of probate, business law, civil litigation and
criminal appeals.

A Commitment to Youth
In addition to his professional services, Clyde M. Taylor III is a
committed advocate for youth in St. Johns County. He brings his insight
into the criminal justice system to high school students through his
work as a varsity football coach, and he is committed to helping
promising young men meet their potential and understand the
consequences of criminal behavior.
