The building that is home to Lightner Museum is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Driving into historic St Augustine, you can't miss this beautiful example of Spanish Renaissance architecture, built in 1887 by railroad magnate Henry Flagler. An expansive garden out front is often lit with lights, and the fountain has recently been restored to its historic splendor outside. Inside you will find a treasure of rare and historic artifacts, paintings, sculptures and art. Relics of America's Gilded Age are elegantly exhibited on the museums three floors. Costumes, furnishings, mechanical, musical, and other artifacts give you a rare glimpse into 19th century life. The Lightner Collection includes beautiful examples of cut glass, Victorian art glass, and the stained glass work of Louis Comfort Tiffany.

Open 9am to 5pm Daily
